PROBATE & ESTATE & TRUST ADMINISTRATION

We practice probate law. What that typically means is that a family member or a friend of a person who has died will contact us to help them administer the deceased person's estate or trust. Individually-owned assets that have no beneficiary designation are subject to the probate process. There are circumstances when probate is not necessary. If a person's estate consists entirely of jointly-held assets, and/or assets with beneficiary designations, or if the estate is very small, the estate can sometimes be administered outside of probate. We also assist with revocable trust matters.
